After family dispute, Angelina Jolie's daughter Zahara drops Brad Pitt's surname.

It has come to light that Zahara, the eldest daughter of Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, has rejected her adopted father Brad Pitt and no longer goes by his last name.

After being adopted in 2005, Zahara, who is presently enrolled at college, goes by Zahara Marley Jolie instead of her Jolie-Pitt last name, according to Mirror.co.uk.

The 18-year-old just joined the Spelman College sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha, but she registered as Jolie instead of Jolie-Pitt, giving the impression that she had abandoned her adoptive father's last name.

At six months old, Jolie and Pitt adopted Zahara from an orphanage in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, in 2005.

Zahara is the second of Brad and Angelina's six children—the other five being Maddox, Shiloh, Pax, and the twins Knox and Vivienne—according to Mirror.co.uk.

In a video from her sorority introduction, Zahara, a sophomore in college, is heard saying, "My name is Zahara Marley Jolie.

" And (I) arrived in the city of angels, Los Angeles, California, after traveling all the way from the Golden State."

After the video was posted online, social media users immediately saw that she had chosen a different last name.
