Carrot Cake Smoothie

A delectable carrot cake smoothie made with carrot juice, frozen bananas, and protein powder. This combination tastes like a liquid carrot cake!

If you do a fast search for "carrot cake" on my site, you will notice that I am a huge fan! I've created various carrot cake recipes, including baked oatmeal, bars, and breakfast cookies...

I've been on a smoothie kick recently, so I decided to make a carrot cake smoothie, since who doesn't want to eat carrot cake in any form?!

When I came across 100% carrot juice in the store, I knew it would make an excellent base for my carrot cake smoothie. If you've never tasted carrot juice, don't be scared or intimidated!

The juice has a bit of earthiness, but it's rather sweet, and when combined with a few other simple ingredients, it tastes great in smoothies.

100% carrot juice - I chose Bolthouse Farms, but if you can't locate any, I've provided two alternatives below!

For this recipe, I recommend using unsweetened vanilla almond milk, although any milk can be used.If you don't have carrot juice or can't get it at your local shop, you can still prepare this smoothie.

If you own a juicer, you may prepare your own fresh carrot juice, which is absolutely tasty. I adore using my Hurom slow juicer for this! Another method is to use a high-speed blender (such as a Vitamix) to puree the carrots.
