Celebrating Employee Appreciation Day at East Coast Ski Resort

On National Employee Appreciation Day, Killington Resort, Vermont, honors its hardworking workers

Today, the resort debuted servers and snowmakers in a video.

These people enable resort skiing. When you see them on the hill, give them a fist bump or a "thank you".

National Boss Day, which I'd never heard of until now, may have inspired National Employee Appreciation Day.

which the Business Standard says was launched in 1995.

Killington's staff and supervisors blow snow and keep the season going.

"Our snowmaking team is taking advantage of cold temps to resurface terrain after

late February's weather rollercoaster," its snow reporter wrote this morning.
