Cherry-Berry Smoothie Bowl

This healthy smoothie bowl contains three of the finest foods to reduce inflammation: tart cherry juice, spinach, and avocado. 

If you don't have spinach, use another dark leafy green. This smoothie bowl contains 18 grams of fiber, enough to keep you full until noon. 

1 cup of unsweetened tart cherry juice, cooled 

1 cup of packed baby spinach. 3/4 cup plain, 2% reduced-fat strained yogurt 

One ripe avocado, peeled and pitted 3/4 cup unsweetened, frozen mixed berries 

2 tablespoons chia seeds. 1 1/4 cups fresh mixed berries. 

In a blender, combine juice, spinach, yogurt, avocado, and frozen berries. Process until smooth.  

Divide across two bowls, then top with chia seeds and fresh berries. Serve immediately.
