ESPN Releases Initial 2025 NBA Mock Draft with Intriguing OKC Thunder Selection

Oklahoma City Thunder general manager Sam Presti made a historic trade that included Paul George, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and seven first-round picks to Los Angeles.

Since then, OKC has amassed an abundance of draft assets.

Apart from the two 2024 first-round selections that are probably going to be selected by lottery, the Thunder also have three 2025 first-round picks and three more in 2026.

The Miami Heat, Philadelphia 76ers, and pick exchange with the Houston Rockets are among the first-round selections that the Thunder control in the 2025 draft.

Three intriguing picks were placed by ESPN in the first round of the next draft for Oklahoma City in their early 2025 mock draft, which was unveiled on Monday.

The selection order was determined by analyst Jonathan Givony using ESPN's projected standings for the next campaign.

11 in ESPN's first 2025 mock draft, and Givony had OKC choose future Indiana wing Liam McNeeley.

At the elite Montverde Academy in Florida, McNeeley is a senior.
