Greyhounds Drops Series Clincher to Lakers 

Indianapolis— The University of Indianapolis baseball team fell to 2-4 after losing the series finale to Grand Valley State on Sunday afternoon. 

 After a six-run third inning, the Lakers held the Hounds scoreless in the remaining four frames, taking advantage of 14 runners left on base. 

In the loss, Hounds offense players Brayton Bowen and Drew Donaldson went yard, with Bowen going 1-1 with three walks. 

 After taking starter Logan Petersen yard in the first frame, the Lakers did most of their damage in the third.  

Six runs were scored against lefty Caden Wilburn, including a three-run blast.  

The Hounds' third-quarter rally began with Donaldson's unassisted shot to left center

Bowen hit a solo homer over the right field fence an inning later  

Sloppy defense and pitching scored two more for the Hounds, but they lost their second consecutive series.
