Jake Paul TKOs Ryan Bourland in first round: Fight analysis, results 

 Jake Paul defeated Ryan Bourland in the first round by TKO at 2:37 Saturday night in San Juan, Puerto Rico. 

  In his second straight fight, Paul, 27, stopped his opponent in the first round to go 9-1 (with 6 KOs). 

 Following a first-round knockout of Andre August Dec. 15, Paul expected a cruiserweight battle second-round knockout. 

Paul started with punches and landed body shots, rights, and uppercuts before Bourland kneeled on the canvas and the referee stopped the fight. 

 Paul challenged undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez after the bout. 

 "I'm big-league ready," Paul stated. "Getting sharper  

 I'm going to be world champion, Canelo, stop ducking. I know you desire...  

 He added, “Truly,” in a DAZN in-ring interview.
