John Beilein Has Blunt Reaction To Michigan's Loss vs. Ohio State

Michigan's terrible men's basketball season continued with an 84-61 defeat to Ohio State

Former Michigan head coach John Beilein was at a loss for words after Sunday's latest setback.

Michigan slipped to 3-16 in Big Ten play after suffering its seventh consecutive loss and 12th defeat in the previous 13 games. After the game,

Ohio State interim coach Jake Diebler termed it "special" to defeat their rivals, whom he referred to as the "team up north."

Beilein failed to understand Diebler's comments on the Big Ten Network.

"I don't know how to respond as the coach from this place up north," Beilein went on to say. "I have no comment right now. "I really don't have a comment."

He later saw a comment that complimented Diebler while also recognizing the pain of witnessing his former school lose the rivalry game.

"Coach Diebler has done a great job with it, but no Michigan coach likes to see Ohio State win," Beilein said in a statement.
