Participating in Wright-Patterson's Women's History Month 

Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio Throughout March, the 88th Air Base Wing will host Women's History Month events. 

 The 88 ABW Special Observance Committee will conduct a women's health seminar, reading club, museum visits, and scavenger hunts.  

 This year's commemoration honors military and civilian women with the theme “Women Breaking Barriers, Building the Future.”  

It will honor pioneering women and demonstrate the benefits of diversity in U.S. forces, according to organizers.  

 “I hope our observance events provide insight and enhanced understanding of the challenges women have overcome  

 said committee member Staff Sgt. Vivian Thompson. “I hope they are inspired to act and build a brighter future.”    

 All base-accessible community members can join the Women's Health Panel and book club. 

 Women's Health Panel with 88th Medical Group speakers, March 8, 1:30–2:30 p.m. Wright-Patterson Medical Center Auditorium (basement) will host the panel.
