Recasting Batman For The DCU's New Dark Knight Reboot Movie

Various actors' personality, build, and experience make great DCU Batman choices. The Brave and the Bold's new take on the character could help unknown actors. Based on the new DCU's casting, actors who have worked with James Gunn may be better candidates for Batman, while those without may still be a possibility.

James Gunn plays favorites with former partners like many directors. After playing Ronan the Accuser in Guardians of the Galaxy with James Gunn, Lee Pace may be nominated as Batman.

 1. Lee Pace Has Already Handled Major Cinematic Franchise

Despite Eternals' many flaws, Richard Madden's portrayal of Ikaris was a gem. The Scottish actor looks like Batman, with a powerful jaw that protrudes from his hood. Batman: The Brave and the Bold might benefit from Madden's Citadel experience, as Batman is probably a super-spy.

David Corenswet and Milly Alcock as Superman and Supergirl may have set a precedent for the DCU to cast outstanding unknowns who have yet to appear in a blockbuster.

 3. Theo James May Be The Understated Casting Gunn Is Looking For

On Glee, Darren Criss became famous as Blaine Anderson, then had modest success on Broadway and Indie Pop. Criss voices Superman in the animated Tomorrowverse and Music Meister in the Arrowverse, despite his fame in music.

4. Darren Criss Already Has A History Of Appearing In DC Projects

The experienced actor Jake Gyllenhaal may like a weird choice for Batman: The Brave and the Bold, but more research suggests otherwise. Gyllenhaal's acting is top-notch, and his Nightcrawler portrayal of an obsessed nocturnal hunter might color a somewhat crazy Batman performance

5. Jake Gyllenhaal Is A Proven Actor Who Could Handle Batman's Range

Oliver Jackson-Cohen, another underrated actor, may represent the DCU's biggest casting decisions' talent. Jackson-Cohen is most known for playing The Invisible Man, a villain with a double identity like Batman and Bruce Wayne

Bradley Cooper's diverse filmography justifies his Hollywood star status. Cooper worked closely with Gunn as Rocket Raccoon in the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, which may have helped him into the DCU casting process
